NPFC ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND
CONSENT
1. All participants are advised that Northern Peninsula Football Club soccer training may involve some strenuous physical activity which presents the risk of injury.
This risk of injury cannot be wholly relieved by any preventive measures, whether restrictive rules, training, equipment, or personal discipline. The decision whether to engage in any activity that forms part of the overall program shall be entirely with the participants. Participation in the training in no way obliges anyone to engage in any activity they do not feel they can accomplish.
2. I expressly acknowledge my full understanding of the risks of injury, including serious injury, that arise from participation in soccer. I acknowledge that I have had full opportunity to review this document and discuss the nature of these risks. Based on that full understanding, I freely and knowingly assume all such risks, whether specifically known and unknown. I accordingly assume full and sole responsibility for my participation in the soccer training.
3. I hereby release and forever discharge Northern Peninsula FC as well as any third-party sponsors of Northern Peninsula FC of any damage to my property or personal injury resulting from my involvement in any aspect of soccer training.

1. Respect for the Game and Officials
● Accept Referee Decisions: The referee’s decisions on the field are final. Refrain from arguing, using abusive language, or gesturing negatively towards match officials.
● Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Verbal or physical abuse, intimidation, or discriminatory remarks (based on race, gender, sexuality, or ability) directed at officials, staff, or opponents will lead to immediate disciplinary action.
2. Fair Play and Sportsmanship
● Play Clean: Compete with integrity. Avoid overly aggressive play, reckless challenges, and dangerous actions that risk injury to yourself or others.
● Control Emotions: Maintain self-control. Do not retaliate when fouled, and avoid profanity or taunting.
● Graciousness: Win and lose with dignity. Always shake hands or offer a congratulatory gesture to opponents and the referee after the match.
3. Equipment and Facility Guidelines
● Required Gear: Players must wear approved shin guards, long socks, and the correct team uniform or matching colored jerseys. Goalkeepers must wear a distinct color.
● Safety First: Remove all jewelry (watches, necklaces, rings, earrings) and ensure footwear complies with venue regulations (no metal cleats on turf or indoor floors).
● Facility Rules: Treat fields and facilities with respect. Dispose of trash, and adhere to venue-specific rules (e.g., no alcohol or smoking).
4. Player and Team Accountability
● Team Responsibility: Captains and coaches are accountable for the behavior of their players and spectators. Captains must help calm and control emotionally heated situations on the sideline.
● Disciplinary Action: Ejections (Red Cards) will result in immediate removal from the facility and an automatic suspension for the next scheduled match. Severe infractions (like physical altercations) will result in further disciplinary review and potential expulsion from the league.
